The Committee on Honor, Awards and Programs will create programs of general interest for both the members of the Emeritus Society and the UAMS Community. These programs may include events that foster continued learning, fellowship, service, and the academic vitality of the UAMS community.
As this new Committee embarks on its work, it will focus on two kinds of activities:
- Developing the “Last Lecture Program and Award”
- Working with the staff of the Center for Faculty Excellence to plan at least two annual events for the Emeritus Society.
