Getting Plugged In – A Virtual Series for New Faculty
The Getting Plugged In virtual series provides an opportunity for newly hired faculty members to meet other new faculty across the colleges and departments. Each session will highlight key leaders and resources/services from varying colleges/divisions/groups with the goal of supporting faculty success.
This series is designed to include six virtual sessions over the course of one year. Think of these sessions as virtual Meet-and-Greet conversations!
Every other month, CFE will host a Zoom session that will provide new faculty with invaluable face-to-face conversations with key leaders here at UAMS. New faculty will be able to ask questions and receive direct feedback at these sessions. There will also be an opportunity receive valuable topical information directly from the sources and specifically focused on the perspective of new faculty.
We believe robust introductory opportunities for new faculty is linked with engagement, retention, and professional wellness. We also believe this will result in greater uptake in the utilization of resources available to support faculty and their career success.
All sessions will take place from 12-1pm on Zoom.
