The UAMS Division of Academic Affairs Staff Member of the Year Award was established in 2022 to recognize excellence in Academic Affairs.
Eligibility
Nominees must be a full-time, 100% FTE Academic Affairs staff member.
Award Process
A committee of Academic Affairs team members will review the nominations and recommend finalists to the Provost, who will make the final decision of the award recipient.
The award recipient will be announced during the division’s spring event, to be held on Wednesday, April 23.
Nominations and Applications
Nominators must be UAMS Academic Affairs faculty, emeriti, students or a fellow staff member. To apply or to nominate someone for the award, please use the link below to upload a nomination letter (maximum of two pages) that address the candidate’s outstanding contributions to the department, division and/or UAMS during the calendar year 2024. In the letter, make sure to include the candidate’s role as well as how long they have been in that role and at UAMS. For their contributions that make them worthy of recognition, please include details along with any other recognition, awards or other evidence that support the nomination.
